>Plug Charges
Basically there are two main standards for voltage and frequency in the world. One is the standard of 120 volts at a frequency of 60 Hz, and the other is the standard of 220–240 volts at 50 Hz. China uses generally 220V, 50HZ, AC (Hong Kong is 200V; Taiwan is 110V).Electricity in India is 240 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to Beijing and other parts of China, you will need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.
>Wi-Fi/SIM card
Most hotel rooms will offer an internet connection for your laptop. The airports, coffee restaurants, etc. Provide free wifi. You may also
consider to buy a SIM card for easier internet connection & phone calls after your arrival
in China(please consult your telephone company
to see if it can be used in China).
>Baggage allowance
The regulations for domestic flights within China also vary by airline. However, as a general rule, the size limitations for
carry-on baggage is usually the same whether you are flying domestically or internationally. The restriction for
carry -on luggage is 5KG. Free checked luggage for economy class airfare is generally 20KG. You are kindly suggested to

Except self-driving, in most of the urban cities in China, we use public bus, taxis,subways or shared-biking to get around the city. Comparatively, it is cheaper to take public buses, subways. But if you are with large luggage and small kids, it is suggessted to take taxis which is more convenient.>Food & Drinking
You can enjoy the delicious Chinese food not only in superior restaurants with many facilities and quality service, but also in ordinary eateries that are much cheaper but still serve delicious dishes. Prices vary, based on the different conditions and the environment. Anyway, wherever you go for a meal, health, sanitation and safety are necessities that you should pay much attention to. Some appetizing local snacks are usually sold at the roadside eateries, night markets or street restaurants that are commonly found in the country.
For water, for safety reason, please do not drink the water from the tap. Generally hotels provide free bottled water every day; During the trip, we provide 2 free bottles of water every day as well. It is quite convenient to buy bottled water from convince stores at around CNY2-CNY3.
>Shopping
Shopping in China is great fun, interesting and challenging. Credit Cards including Master Card, Visa are are acceptable in most large department stores. However, be sure to carry sufficient cash including small notes to facilitate buying from street vendors. When shopping, you can bargain in the markets or small shops; also, please remember tocheck the quality before you pay and always keep the receipt. Lastly, do not buy goods that are not allowable be exported from China.
>Safety
China is generally a very safe place for tourists. However, while travelling in China, there are several tourist scams that visitors should be aware of. Always be careful with what you do and with who you can trust.
>Tipping
Tipping is not compulsary in China. But for tipping for guides and drivers will encourage provides better services. It is now becoming a norm that guides need to be tipped for their excellent services. You may tip eithr your currency or Chinese Yuan. The amount can be based on your satisfaction on the service.
>Time Difference
China only has one time zone - Beijing time, eight hours ahead of Greenwich (GMT + 8).
