  • Day 1: Du Fu Thatched Cottage

    Transportation: Tourist Bus/ High-Speed Rail Catering: None Accommodation: Steigenberger Jiuzhai Valley

    After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Du Fu Thatched Cottage for sightseeing. A tranquil tribute to China's "Poet Sage," this Chengdu museum preserves the 8th-century home where Du Fu wrote 240 poems amidst the Tang Dynasty's turmoil. The 16-acre site features reconstructed thatched huts, antique pavilions, and bamboo forests that inspired his nature poetry.In the afternoon, take the bus to Chengdu East Station and take the train to Jiuzhaigou. Overnight in Jiuzhaigou.

  • Day 2: Jiuzhaigou- Chuanzhusi

    Drive to Jiuzhai Valley after breakfast. Jiuzhai Valley, A UNESCO World Heritage Site, famed for its ethereal blue lakes, multi-tiered waterfalls, and pristine forests. Often called "Earth's Fairyland," its otherworldly beauty changes with the seasons - emerald greens in summer, fiery golds in autumn, and ice sculptures in winter.

    After that, visit Chuanzhusi Town. A gateway to Jiuzhaigou at 3,000m altitude, this Tibetan town blends spiritual heritage with alpine landscapes. By night, the illuminated Golden Pagoda creates a magical contrast against snow-capped mountains. Overnight in Chuanzhusi Town.

  • Day 3: Huanglong Scenic Area

    After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Huanglong National Scenic Reserve. Nestled in Sichuan Province, Huanglong(Yellow Drangon) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its dazzling travertine terraces, emerald pools, and snow-capped peaks. To preserve its fragile ecosystem while ensuring accessibility, the reserve offers a cable car that whisks visitors up the mountain, reducing hiking time and offering panoramic aerial views of the valley.
    In the afternoon, drive to train station and take the train back to Chengdu. Overnight in Chengdu.

  • Day 4: Leshan

    Take our bus to Leshan after breakfast. The Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s tallest stone Buddha statue (71m), carved into a riverside cliff during the Tang Dynasty (713-803 AD). This majestic sitting Buddha, overlooking the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi rivers, showcases exquisite ancient Chinese craftsmanship and Buddhist culture. Visitors can hike through ancient temples to view the Buddha up close or take a boat for panoramic views of the entire sculpture and  explore surrounding Buddhist sites and cliff carvings.

    After that, drive to Mount Emei and overnight there.


  • Day 5: Mount Emei

    After breakfast, visit Mount Emei(Emeishan), another UNESCO World Heritage Site. As one of China's Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains, Mount Emei rises 3,099m in Sichuan Province, renowned for its lush forests, ancient temples, and the majestic Golden Summit (Jinding). Visitors can take the scenic buses to access major trailheads from the base (Baoguo Temple) to mid-mountain stations (e.g., Wannian Temple/Leidongping) or take the Golden Summit Cable Car: a 5-minute ride from Leidongping to near Jinding (3,077m), offering breathtaking views of clouds, sunrise, and the 48m-tall Golden Buddha.

  • Day 6: Jinjiang Therter

    After breakfast, drive back to Chengdu. Enjoy the Sichuan Face-Changing (Bian Lian) at Jinjiang Theater.

    Sichuan Face-Changing (Bian Lian), the crown jewel of Chinese opera arts, is a mesmerizing 300-year-old performance tradition where masked artists swiftly switch vibrant facial designs with lightning speed through imperceptible movements. This intangible cultural heritage, originally developed to dramatize shifting emotions and supernatural transformations in Sichuan Opera, employs delicate silk masks and meticulously guarded techniques like sleeve-flipping and head-turning to create magical illusions. Protected as a state secret until recent decades, the art continues to awe audiences worldwide - top performers can change over a dozen masks within seconds while interacting with spectators. Most authentically experienced in Chengdu's historic theaters, this dazzling display represents the perfect fusion of Chinese dramatic artistry, craftsmanship and well-kept theatrical mysteries that continue to captivate modern crowds just as they enchanted Qing dynasty audiences centuries ago.

  • Day 7: Chengdu Panda Base- Wuhou Shrine- Jinli Ancient Street

    After breakfast, visit Chengdu Panda Base. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a world-famous conservation center where visitors can observe adorable giant pandas and red pandas in a naturalistic habitat. Spanning over 200 acres, this non-profit facility focuses on breeding, research, and public education about these endangered species. Highlights include watching pandas munch bamboo, play, and even see cubs (in nursery from July-September), the Panda Museum with interactive exhibits and volunteer programs to get closer to these charismatic creatures. It’s a  must-visit for animal lovers and families!

    After that, visit Wuhou Shrine.This iconic 3rd-century temple honors Zhuge Liang, the brilliant strategist of China's Three Kingdoms period. Stroll through serene gardens dotted with ancient stone tablets and red-walled corridors, where history comes alive.

    Adjacent to Wuhou Temple is the Jinli Ancient Street. Step into old Chengdu at this 550-meter-long pedestrian street replicating Sichuan's Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) style. Sizzling skewers, sweet glutinous rice cakes, and artisan crafts fill the lantern-lit lanes, with tea houses offering live face-changing shows. By night, red lanterns glow above traditional courtyard buildings – perfect for photos!

  • Day 8: Departure from Chengdu

    After breakfast, drive to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. The journey ends here.
