1. By flight
Huangshan is a small city with limited flights from Beijing,Xi’an, Shenzhen, Guilin, etc. So please plan in advance if you prefer to take a flight.
2. By Train
There is high speed train station available which allows you take the high speed train from Beijing, Xi’an, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Shanghai. And it is a good option to transit via Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai to other destinations. But you may book the tickets as early as possible as they are generally on great demand.
1. If to climb Mt. Huangshan, it is highly suggested to not take too much luggage as even if you take the cable car up and down, there are lots of steps to walk. Also, the temperature up the mountain is much lower than in the city, please do prepare warm clothes.
2. It is better to avoid the public holidays if to visit Mt. Huangshan in consideration of safety.
